This direct marketing group specializes in Customer Acquisition / Lead Generation Direct Response through integration of multiple channels. John Clements, with 20 years in Direct Response / Lead Generation experience, is the founder of Clements Marketing Group, LLC. Since 1986, he has been on the executive management team or a long-standing consultant to firms that have sold in excess of $572.8 Million in direct response based goods and services!

John Clements began his 20 year Direct Response career in 1975 as an Art and English teacher in Abilene, Texas. Within 2 years he had written his own honors Humanities course and had an “Artist in Residence” from the Texas Arts & Humanities commission. During this time, he was also a part-time Instructor at Cisco Junior College teaching a sophomore level Humanities course which he authored. He moved to Dallas, Texas in 1979 and was a Graphic Artist with Ross Perot’s EDS corporation for 2 years.

During the 1980’s, Mr. Clements was Creative Director for a special promotions company and directed campaigns for Disney’s TRON, Reeses’s Pieces ET product tie-in as well as various Atari launches. In 1986 he joined AMRE a direct response home services company with revenues of $32 million; Mr. Clements was promoted from Marketing Coordinator to Divisional Marketing Director during this time. Within 4 years, the company went public with revenues exceeding $186 million.

In 1989, Mr. Clements relocated to Florida as Vice President for Spray-Tech a home services company that was later acquired by Sears Home Improvement Products and Services Division.

Mr. Clements spent the next 6 years consulting for various organizations and companies from Hawaii to Chicago, Dallas, Detroit and the New York Metro area and in such industries as a Private College, Office Solutions, Home Services, Insurance as well as others.

In 1997, Mr. Clements’ largest client brought him in-house as Vice President of Marketing for a Northeast Regional corporation. In the next 8 years, the Long Island New York based company grew from $19 to $64 million in revenues and achieved top ranking in third-party customer satisfaction surveys.

In 2005, Mr. Clements formed Clements Marketing Group and started consulting again for a variety of companies specializing in Direct Response Marketing methods to increase Customer Acquisition and Lead Generation.

He currently resides on Long Island New York.
